EVIDENCE THAT MUHAMMAD AN-NAQIB HAD A CHILD NAMED ISA

Al-Ubaidili states in the book Tahdhib al-Ansab: "Those who left descendants from Muhammad bin Ali al-Uraidhi are Abul Hasan Isa an-Naqib—from whom there are many descendants—Yahya bin Muhammad, al-Hasan bin Muhammad, and Ja’far bin Muhammad." (Tahdhib al-Ansab: 175)

Imam al-Fakhr al-Razi states in his book al-Syajarah al-Mubarakah: "As for Muhammad al-Akbar (al-Naqib) bin Ali al-Uraidhi, he had seven children who left descendants: Isa al-Akbar an-Naqib, al-Hasan, Yahya, Muhammad, Musa, Ja’far, and al-Husain. The one with the most descendants is Isa, while the others have few descendants." (Imam al-Fakhr al-Razi, al-Syajarah al-Mubarakah: p. 111/125)

Based on the books mentioned above, it is confirmed that Muhammad an-Naqib had a son named Isa.

EVIDENCE THAT ISA BIN MUHAMMAD HAD A CHILD NAMED AHMAD (AL-MUHAJIR)

Imam al-Fakhr al-Razi states in his book al-Syajarah al-Mubarakah: "As for Isa, he had eleven children who left descendants: Muhammad al-Azraq, Ja’far, Ishaq al-Ahnaf in Ray, Abdullah al-Ahnaf in Sham, al-Husain al-Akbar, Ali, al-Hasan, Yahya, Ahmad al-Abaj (al-Ibh), Isa, and Musa." (Imam al-Fakhr al-Razi, Syajarah al-Mubarakah: p. 111)

From the information in the book above, it is confirmed that Isa had a son named Ahmad.

Based on the evidence provided, it can be concluded that the lineage of Ahmad al-Muhajir bin Isa back to the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ, is scientifically confirmed.

The question remains: how authentic is the link between Ahmad bin Isa and his "son" named Ubaidillah (the father of Alawi bin Ubaidillah and ancestor of the habaib)? Is it true that Ahmad bin Isa had a son named Ubaidillah? We continue the research as follows:
